Sarah Maclod | Founder, Designer & Jeweller
Sarah is the heart and vision behind The Piece London. After a career in events and politics, she found her calling in the intersection of science and storytelling embedded in fine jewellery. Now, with a gemmology diploma (FGA) and dual membership of the National Association of Jewellers and the London Diamond Bourse, Sarah runs The Piece London alongside her sister venture Kirica Fine.
Her approach is rooted in authenticity and accessibility: she sources gemstones directly through trusted mining partners, curates vintage finds with expert precision, and demystifies gemmology for clients. Sarah values confidence, connection, and thoughtful craftsmanship—bringing pieces to life that express stories, heritage, and inspiration. When she’s not at the bench, you’ll find her cooking up a storm (Le Cordon Bleu grand diplôme in hand), exploring nature, or delighting others with her passion for jewellery.
