Simon Kemp | Founder, Designer & Jeweller
Founded by Simon Kemp, the business began as Phoenix Design in 1990. Recognising a lack of affordable, high-quality gold jewellery, Simon developed his distinctive ‘gold and silver effect’ process – combining sterling silver with a thick layer of 24-carat gold for timeless strength and style.
Working closely with Clive Giddings, who runs a Reigate-based workshop, Simon has expanded his capabilities to include corporate and bespoke commissions, supported by skilled engravers, enamellers, and model makers. All castings are produced in Birmingham’s world-renowned Jewellery Quarter, ensuring consistent quality and heritage craftsmanship.
