Sophie Arnott | Founder, Designer & Jeweller
Anvil and Ivy was founded by Sophie Arnott in 2014, following her time teaching in London’s renowned Hatton Garden jewellery quarter. Starting her craft in a garden shed, Sophie transformed a personal challenge into a flourishing jewellery practice – one that values slow design, intentional making, and deep emotional connection.
Today, Sophie handcrafts each design from her peaceful studio in Maldon, Essex. Her signature aesthetic blends soft, organic forms with meaningful details, often incorporating repurposed or inherited materials into new designs. Sophie’s process is collaborative, ethical, and thoughtful – making each piece a personal milestone in metal.
