Serena | Founder, Designer & Jeweller
Serena Ansell is a GIA-trained gemologist, jewellery designer, and the founder of Serena Ansell Fine Jewellery. With an academic background from Exeter University and further gemological training from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America, Serena combines scientific precision with an artistic soul.
Her career began under the mentorship of respected designer William Welstead, where she refined her knowledge of rare gemstones, antique cuts, and exceptional craftsmanship. Passionate about the story behind every stone, Serena launched her own brand in 2022 to create jewellery with meaning — rich in heritage, yet designed for today.
From her relaxed consultations to the final polish, Serena’s process is deeply collaborative and warm. Her signature aesthetic marries timeless elegance with a fresh, colourful twist, reflecting both the individuality of her clients and her love of beauty, art, and nature.
